The fan board

Backers on one side, faders on the other

Every player has a live, two-sided fan board. Backers are fans picking a player up; faders are fans calling them down. The value you see is where the two meet.

  • Activity you can see. Numbers at each level show exactly how many fans are in play.
  • A real mid-value. The latest player value sits between the top back and the top fade, no hidden margin.
  • Tight gaps. Game hosts keep the gap between backing and fading small, so you always play close to fair value.

How a pick joins the game

When you tap Back, here's the path your pick takes, from tap to confirmed, in well under a tenth of a second.

1 · You pick

You back or fade a player at the live value or at a target value you choose.

2 · Board sorts

The engine ranks waiting picks by best value, then by who got there first.

3 · It pairs

Your pick pairs with the best available fans on the other side, instantly.

4 · Confirmed

You get a confirmation and the player lands in your team.

Value–time priority: better values pair first; at the same value, the earlier pick wins. Same rules for everyone.

Always in play

Always someone on the other side

Dedicated game hosts keep every listed player open for backing and fading around the clock. That means busy boards, tight gaps and instant confirmations whenever you want them, even at 2 a.m. between innings.

  • Continuous two-way play on every listed player
  • Busier boards during live matches when activity spikes
  • Join and leave a player without tipping their value against yourself
How values form

From a six to a new player value

On-field events feed a fair-value model. Fans react. The board refreshes. A new player value appears, in real time.

On-field event

A six, wicket, milestone or economical over is registered live.

Model updates

A fair-value model nudges the player's reference value by event weight.

Fans react

Backers and faders update their picks around the new level.

New value set

The board settles on a fresh player value, visible to everyone.

Fairness & transparency

One value. Same rules. For everyone.

No hidden margin

You play against other fans' strategies, never against the house. The mid-value is the mid-value.

Value–time priority

Better values confirm first; at the same value, whoever picked first wins. No queue-jumping.

Visible activity

The full fan board is on screen. You can see how fans are playing before you commit a single point.

Circuit limits

Per-player value bands prevent runaway jumps and protect against accidental taps.

Auditable trails

Every pick and confirmation is timestamped and logged, so the record can always be checked.

Protected points

Your points sit in a secured account, separate from company accounts, settled at the end of each game format.

Results

Each game format settles on its own clock

When a pick settles depends on the game format you chose. The engine handles it automatically, adding or deducting points the moment a game resolves.

Over

Auto-settles within the over you played, ball by ball.

Match

Settles at the final ball of the match you joined.

Series

Resolves at the end of the Test or series window.

Season

Carries through to the close of the full tournament.
